Privacy Policy

Who we are

truegeopolitics.com is an author’s project by Anton Kozhukhar about the history and politics of the United States. This page explains what personal data the site handles when you visit it and how it is protected.

What data we collect

  • Server logs: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of the visit.
  • Comments: if you leave a comment, the name, e-mail address and text you enter, plus your IP address.
  • Cookies: small technical files that remember your chosen language and, if you wish, your name in the comment form.

There is no registration on the site, and we do not collect payment data.

Why we use it

Only to run the site, show it in your language, protect it from spam and attacks, and reply to comments. We do not sell data and do not use it for profiling or advertising.

Third-party services

Some pages embed YouTube videos and link to our Facebook page. Those services may set their own cookies and receive your IP address when you load or open their content; their own privacy policies apply. The site runs on a rented server and uses a caching system to load faster.

Storage and security

Server logs and comments are kept as long as needed for the site’s operation and security; logs are deleted periodically. We use HTTPS and reasonable technical safeguards, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your rights and contact

You may ask us to show, correct or delete the data linked to your comments, and you may object to its processing; where laws such as the GDPR apply, you may also complain to your data-protection authority. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will keep working. To contact us, use our Facebook page or YouTube channel:

Children and changes

The site is not intended for children under 16 and we knowingly collect no data from them. We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page. Last updated: 16 October 2026.
